The GIPZ subsidiary, Direct Connect AS, has been awarded the contract to build and operate a public wireless broadband network in 3 municipalities in the Oppland region. The three municipalities are: Gran kommune, Jevnaker kommune, and Lunner kommune. By this latest addition to the list of municipalities, Direct Connect has now secured contracts to build wireless broadband services in more than 100 municipalities in Norway. All these municipalities have been partially funded by the government program HØYKOM ("high capacity communication") aiming to provide broadband to 100% of the Norwegian population. The GIPZ subsidiary, Direct Connect AS, has signed a contract with Regionrådet Nordhordaland IKS acting on behalf of the following municipalities: Austrheim Kommune, Lindås Kommune, Meland Kommune, and Osterøy Kommune to build and operate a wireless broadband network in the West coast of Norway.

Hafslund Telecom has again awarded the GIPZ group a contract for building a public wireless broadband network in three additional municipalities in the Southwestern part of Norway. Due to the excellent track record of the GIPZ group in planning and deploying wireless infrastructure, the Hafslund Telecom subsidiary, NextNet AS, recommended the GIPZ group for a swift network establishment in the Østfold region. The three municipalities are: Askim kommune, Fredrikstad kommune, and Moss kommune.

The GIPZ subsidiary, Direct Connect AS, has been awarded the contract to build and operate a public wireless broadband network in twelve municipalities in the Vestfold region. The twelve municipalities have succeeded on their plan for a co-operation to receive government funding to give the inhabitants wireless access to the Internet in the Southern part of Norway, and Direct Connect has won the contract in close competition with several other companies.

Hafslund Telecom has awarded the GIPZ group the contract for building a public wireless broadband network in three municipalities in the Østfold region in Norway. Due to the excellent track record of the GIPZ group in planning and deploying wireless infrastructure, the Hafslund Telecom subsidiary, NextNet AS, recommended the GIPZ group for a swift network establishment in this Southwestern part of Norway. The three municipalities are: Rygge kommune, Råde kommune, and Våler kommune.
